Reaper Vst Plugins Streamlabs

For a while REAPER has been crashing often when I insert a plugin. This is NOT normal behavior and not what I am used to seeing. After a dozen crashes this morning I stopped trying to mix and tried to figure it out.

Clearing the plugin cache didn’t help and neither did installing the latest update. Eventually I found a preference that I normally have enabled was actually disabled. This option is called ‘Bypass audio while opening plug-in config window‘ in the Plug-ins>VST settings.
Scan for plugins crashes reaper every time Sign in to disable this ad Reaper installed and opens up fine, everyhting seems to work, but when i try to add any fx, it says scanning for directX plugins and crashes. So far, 10 out of 10 times.

The good news is REAPER doesn’t crash anymore, the downside is playback glitches momentarily when inserting a plugin or opening the UI (which is the reason I disabled it before).

Vst Plugins For Reaper
Reaper Plugins Here. Reaper Plugins is a suite of free VST plugins. Just install the 64-bit version from the link about and install it to the default install location. Do not change this as OBS searches for a specific location for VST plugins and if you change it, OBS won't be able to find them. I read somewhere that Reaper has a bridged mode where you can run 32-bit plugin effects in 64-bit Reaper. I currently use 32-bit Reaper, have a slew of 32-bit plugins, but would like to be able to access the extra ram that running 64-bit Reaper would provide.
