Re: VST not showing up Post by thepuug » Wed Jan 09, 2019 4:11 pm Brilliant, here we are in 2019 (Version Abeton Live Suite 10.0.5) and I needed to do the ALT+Click on 'rescan' and BOOM, it works! Mac OS X:

Simply go to your DAW’s preferences and rescan your plug-in. Note that Eventide no longer supports 32-bit plugins.

Windows:

It is possible that you need to add the following paths to your DAW’s list of VST folders. Open your DAW’s VST Preferences and add the applicable folder:

Windows 32-bit OS:

32-bit DAW: C:Program FilesCommon FilesSteinbergVST2

Windows 64-bit OS:

32-bit DAW: C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesSteinbergVST2
64-bit DAW: C:Program FilesCommon FilesSteinbergVST2
After doing this, perform a plug-in rescan in your DAW. Note that the following DAWs sometimes require additional steps:

Studio One:

  1. In the VST preferences, and make sure 'Scan at Startup' is checked.
  2. Also click 'Reset Blacklist' in the VST preferences, and then restart Studio One.
